Business Unit Controller

We are looking for a Business Unit Controller for a dynamic and growing organization located in the Tournai region. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Function

As a Business Unit Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and improving the financial performance of one or more business units. You will work closely with management and provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Preparing, monitoring, and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  
• Analyzing business unit performance and identifying improvement opportunities
  
• Supporting management with financial analyses and decision-making insights
  
• Monitoring cost structures and profitability of projects or activities
• Improving reporting processes and internal controls
  
• Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  
• Acting as a financial business partner for operational managers
  

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Several years of relevant experience in controlling, audit, or finance
• Strong analytical skills and a critical mindset
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders
• Proactive and results-oriented attitude
• Good knowledge of Dutch and French; English is considered an asset
